Puppy Pictures! 9 week old Diesel has got quite the personality

Amy contacted Gracie's Bark to share pictures of her 9 week old Siberian Husky named Diesel. He is quite handsome but a bit of a handful.

I've read a little about the breed and learned that training a Siberian Husky can sometimes be quite a challenge. They are extremely intelligent and stubborn, which can be difficult when training. They might talk back when you ask them to sit and soon you will find yourself having a conversation with your Siberian about why he or she should sit for you. Or they might stare directly at you in understanding of the command and decide they just don’t feel like listening.

Because of their independent spirit, training must be handled with consistency and patience. A Siberian Husky owner really should come armed with both a lot of good reading material and a good sense of humor to be able to handle their antics. Most of all, Siberian Huskies are loving, gentle, playful, happy-go-lucky dogs who are fond of their families, but do require a ton of exercise. The more exercise, the easier training will be!

Puppy Pictures of a very special Lab named Nick

Nancy and Evan contacted Gracie's Bark to share puppy pictures of their Yellow Labrador named Nick. Thank you so much for sharing these photos with us! 

"Dug out puppy photos of nickyBONES namesake - Nick.  Could not resist these two!  We consider ourselves so fortunate to have had Nick in our lives.  He was born in the Huachuca Mountains of Arizona.  We were living on Fort Huachuca at the time when we read in the Pet Classified Ads that Labrador Puppies were for sale!  We picked Nick out of a litter of twelve!  After we told Nick we would be back for him and all the pups were all back in the big crate with their Mom I realized I left my purse in the room where the pups were.  I opened the slider and Nick was the only one who came back out of the crate to greet me.   The rest is a history!  Truly a special dog!"

"Sharing some puppy pictures of our miracle dog, Indy, who is beating the odds from cancer  for 15 months now.  We are hoping he stays with us long enough for his 10^th birthday on June 18^th! We started visiting him every week since he was 3 weeks old and had the joy of bringing him home with us when he was only 8 weeks old. That’s when we fell in love – completely!! The love has only grown more and more as each year has passed!  He still has the heart of a puppy and has so much love & kisses to share! xoxo

Puppy Pictures! 5 Month Old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

Emily contacted Gracie's Bark to share her wonderful puppy pictures of her dog Jenny when she was 5 months old. Jenny is adorable! I've actually had the pleasure of meeting Jenny in person and she is very sweet! Thanks Emily and Jenny for sharing!

"Hi Gracie...it's Jenny....my "mom" got me when I was 5 months old as a rescue from a family with too many dogs and kids. I needed 1 on 1 TLC...

My long breed name is Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I found out what a Victorian collar was when I was spayed... then it was spring and the blossoms brought the bees buzzin ... and yes, I got stung on my muzzle...ouch !!  Here I am with my cigar...nice, huh?  Now I am 3 years old and a "big" girl ...I still love to snuggle !!"

Puppy Pictures! It's so hard to imagine them being that small

Jessica sent Gracie's Bark an email to share her puppy pictures. Here's what she wrote:

"To Gracie & her people:  Just saw Gracie's request for puppy pictures and thought I'd send these pictures along of my dog, Ava (Doberman) when she was a pup. So hard to believe she was ever that small! She was about 12 weeks old in both photos. Thanks!  ~ Jessica

Cristina from Plymouth, MA contact Gracie's Bark to share adorable pictures of her two Bouvier des Flandres dogs named Lucy and Sadie when they were puppies. They are both so cute!

For those of you who may not know, the Bouvier is a large, powerful, rugged looking dog and part of a herding breed that originated in Flanders. The Bouvier is also an obedient dog, whom may look intimidating, but is actually pleasant natured and gentle with the proper training and exercise.

Let's Talk About Puppies For Just A Minute

I came across some puppy pictures of Gracie and I just had to share them with all of you! 

Gracie is going to be 3 years old in September this year and it seems like yesterday she was only 8 weeks old. It's amazing how much their appearance changes as they age. I loved looking at these adorable pictures of my girl when I first brought her home.
