Lost Collie has a happy ending!

Two Days ago, Gracie's Bark posted a report about a Collie that was found and was recovering from a fall through some ice in Westport, MA. We are very happy to follow up and let everyone know he has made a full recovery and his owner contacted Acoaxet Veterinary Clinic immediately after hearing the story on the local news. The 8 year old Collie's name is Leo and he was adopted by Katelyn Savoie when he was 6 months old.

Angels Come In All Shapes & Sizes

A dog, appropriately named Angel, became a canine hero in Canada and saved a young boy's life. Angel, a Golden Retriever, saved her 11 year old owner from a bob cat. The boy is fine but Angel suffered from her struggle with the bob cat. She is still in recovery and undergoing some surgery but we are hoping for the best.  Angel is in our thoughts and prayers!

Gracie's Bark Celebrates National Train Your Dog Month!

The Association of Pet Dog Trainers has officially declared January as the National Train Your Dog Month! 

In honor of this announcement, Gracie's Bark will be offering various training bark tips and barking with the theme of Dog Training in all of her blog posts during the month of January. 

To kick off our Dog Training theme this month, we have come across a fun and interesting video about a company called Wag Hotels, located in CA, that is offering a fun exercise program for dog owners and their dogs.  Two dog trainers run the Wag Workout program. The dogs and their owners not only exercise, but learn helpful training tips too!
