Gracie is half Australian Shepherd (energetic working dog) and half Lab (energetic family dog), both breeds being very intelligent and demanding of your time. Her temperament is that of an Australian Shepherd which makes her an extremely intelligent dog with strong herding and guardian instincts.
Gracie is also a delightful loyal companion and loves to be part of everything I do. She has truly changed my life in so many wonderful ways. Although, as with many dogs, there are those times when she can be a bit challenging and I have to make sure her training always remains consistent.
We have worked with Marcia Albert of Dartmouth, MA, who has been a tremendous help. All her training is based on positive reinforcement which has proved to be successful and highly effective with Gracie.
